This is a nonprofit organization that provides consulting services on project management related topics for community development.
The Fundación para el Desarrollo Integral Comunitario (Fundeinco) is an institution that primarily operates within the Colombian Caribbean region. They work in collaboration with both public and private sectors to provide efficient management for various community projects.
Fundeinco is dedicated to the betterment of communities by implementing sustainable initiatives that benefit local residents.
Through their work, they strive to promote social development and community empowerment, and have established themselves as a reputable institution within the region.
To gather insights on the public perception of non-profit organizations, we conducted voluntary interviews to understand how people identify and relate to them. From the collected information, several hypotheses emerged, including:
- Non-profit organizations are viewed as emotional institutions with high moral standards.
- People often identify non-profit organizations through visible identifiers like clothing or ID cards worn by employees.
- Non-profit organizations that do not explicitly state they are non-profit are often preferred.
- Non-profit organizations are often perceived as having a high hierarchy.
These findings informed our approach to designing a graphic system for the non-profit organization, ensuring it aligned with public perceptions and effectively communicated Fundeinco's values and goals.
Fundeinco aims to improve communication using TICs to reach new social sectors and promote reading, critical discussions, and project tracking with community involvement.
To achieve the objective, a visual identity was needed for easy recognition by the target audience on digital screens. Color, typography, and layout were considered for an eye-catching and memorable brand. The new identity increased brand recognition, visibility, and community engagement for Fundeinco.
Fundeinco's symbol and color scheme evoke emotions and patriotism (regional colors). A comprehensive branding strategy was implemented, including social media and events, which helped Fundeinco reach new and existing audiences.
